This early morning walk takes place on the summer solstice and follows the Pilgrims’ Way and North Downs Way between Wye and Chilham. It’s your chance to take a break from the day-to-day routine, get some fresh air and exercise whilst meeting with like-minded people.

We meet at Wye Railway Station and head towards Boughton Lees where we join the Pilgrims Way. We’ll pass through Boughton Aluph and then up into Kings Woods following the North Downs Way to Chilham for refreshments.

The walk is around 7 miles and follows country roads and paths that can be muddy and steep in places. It is suitable for anyone with a reasonable fitness level. We expect to be walking for around 3 hours.

We’ll be walking at a brisk pace that is comfortable for all the group – we won’t leave anyone behind.
