Mowing Meadows & Pruning Trees Volunteering Day

Meet at Bus Company Island, Canterbury, mowing the meadow to help provide areas for reptiles to bask and at the same time give some of the fruit trees a Summer prune.

After lunch you’ll head to the coast at Seasalter, returning to Mariners Field; mowing the ‘wild’ area next to St Alphege’s Church where just over a year ago, a boundary hedge was planted.

Meet up at North Lane Car Park at 9.45 am and bring hat and sun lotion if hot, plus a good lunch.
