Increasing areas of snowdrops and daffodils in spring. Extensive lawns set off herbaceous borders, ornamental shrubs and trees with yr-round foliage contrast and striking autumn colour. Major tree planting since 1987 storm; woodland, park and lake walks can be enjoyed beyond the garden.
