Medway Festival of Sport 10k

The fifth annual 10k event will be held again this summer on Sunday, 4 June at Medway Park.  Entries are now open online.

The race will, once again, be looking to attract runners of all abilities, from experienced athletes to those new to running.

Road closures will be in place to enable a track start and finish at Medway Park.

Medal and Finish Line goodies to all finishers, plus prizes & awards for leading runners in all age categories and team prizes.

You can find a copy of the course map here.

The Medway 10k is organised in partnership with Nice Work and the charity partner, the Friends of Wisdom Hospice.

The 2017 Medway 10k will again be looking to help raise money for the designated charity – Wisdom Hospice – and runners are encouraged to help raise sponsorship.

Over 500 runners took part in the fourth annual Medway 10k in 2016.  The event was won by Medway and Maidstone athlete Ben Tyler in a time of 33:39.  He finished just four seconds ahead of fellow M&M AC athlete Tom Collins.  Medway and Maidstone took seven of the top 10 places.

The first female home was Rebel Runner Lisa Bacon in a time of 44:00.  View the full results.
