Maidstone Cyclefest 2017

 Get on your bike!

  • The Cycle training team from Kent County Council are delighted to be supporting Maidstone CycleFest again this year.  They offer a wide range of Cycle training programmes to both children and adults across the county
  • Return of popular Cycles UK Turbo Time Trial – win prizes for the fastest man and woman by testing your stamina and cycle power
  • Free bike health check provided by Cycles UK
  • Len Potts world famous vintage and modern bikes exhibition including Penny Farthing, Bone Shaker, Electric and Olympic bikes
  • Make your own delicious smoothie using pedal power with the Medway Valley Community Rail Partnership
  • Maidstone Borough Council Active Health display and advice
  • Kent County Council exhibitions and information to launch the new Cycle route along the Medway Towpath. Come and see the route exclusive before it is launched later this year
  • Maidstone Borough Council Walking and Cycling Strategy display
  • Invicta cycle training are organising a competition for children with a prize for who can spot the mistakes on an exhibition bike
  • San fairy Ann will be running a competition called “Guess the Bike Part” with prizes for winners!
  • Games and activities for everyone and prizes for those turning up on their bikes

The event will be clearly visible from the crossing where Gabriels Hill and King Street meet.
