Celebrating 40 years of the North Downs Way and 50 Years of the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this creative workshop takes us by foot from sea to hill and hill to sea, connecting Folkestone with one of England’s greatest walking routes and landscapes.

Led by Ecopoet Chris Poundwhite and Artist, Helen Lee, we will work with pen and paper on poems and drawings that respond to the landscapes that we pass through and witness.

Please bring pen & paper and dress appropriately for the weather. We will be walking uphill for part of this event and there are no toilet facilities on the route. We will walk whether rain or shine!
This event is being run as part of a series of activities to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Kent Downs AONB and the 40th Anniversary of the North Downs Way, in partnership with Folkestone Quarterhouse and the SALT Festival. For more information visit www.kentdowns.org.uk
