Lenham is a market village situated on the southern edge of the North Downs. From the village we will make our way through the fields towards North Downs/Pilgrim’s Way. Following trails through the farm land we will make our way back towards Lenham, walking another part of North Downs, stopping at The Chalk Cross, a First World War Memorial.
We will be meeting on The Square, Lenham, Maidstone, ME17 2PH, where there is limited parking available. There is also on-road parking available on the neighbouring streets. ** Car parking charges are NOT included **
The walk will take approximately 3.5 hours (around 9.5km), will include a lunch stop and will cost £3.50 per person.
Meeting time – 9:15am ready for a 09:30 am prompt start.
Terrain – some hills Distance – approximately 9.5km (6 miles)
Walking time – 3.5 hours walking (with lunch break in the middle)
