Women’s Wellness Walk on the King Charles III England Coast Path – Gravesend
- 16 Jun 2025
- 10am
- Gravesend
Overview:
We’re thrilled to collaborate with Explore Kent to present this free walk celebrating King Charles III’s England Coast Path. Starting at Gravesend Station, this route will walk us through centuries of history, tranquil marshlands, and the evolving landscapes of the Thames Estuary.
Description:
Starting in Gravesend we will head to the pier ( the world’s oldest surviving cast iron pier) and onto the Coastal Path which is also twinned with the Saxon Shore Way here. The marshes are a haven for the diverse wildlife so please feel free to bring binoculars if you wish. We will then return on the 19th-century canal, before finishing our journey at the station.
New or nervous to come solo?
We totally understand how you feel! In fact, around 80% of our members come to the group solo, and most of them make friends in no time at all. Our group is warm, welcoming, and supportive, and you’ll quickly find that everyone is open to chatting and getting to know each other. We have a wide variety of life experiences among us, so there’s always something to connect over. You’ll be at ease before you know it! Walking with us is not just about keeping active; it’s about making new friends and building a supportive community within nature. We can’t wait to welcome you!
