It is part of the Dover to Kingsdown Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and part of the Kent Downs AONB.

MEET: At informal car park, Seaview Road, South Foreland Valley, St. Margaret’s-at-Cliffe, near Dover (TR 358 463).

Volunteer conservation tasks this winter will mostly include clearing scrub and invasive trees to keep grassland routes open for wildlife; and maintaining fences, gates, footpaths and steps for people in this lovely nature reserve.
