Take a slow walk up and around the slopes and ditches of the Western Heights fortifications and nature reserve. Keeping an eye out for the bats that fly above the reserve.

Take a slow walk up and around the slopes and ditches of the Western Heights fortifications and nature reserve. Stopping to look and learn about bats – these wonderful, furry, flying mammals.
Please bring a torch.
Wear shoes or boots with good grip.
Please bring a Bat detector if you have one. Or, you can have a try of the leader’s detector.
