Guided Lavender & Distillery Tour

Go behind the scenes of Castle Farm and learn all about Lavender! Join a Castle Farm Guide as they take you into the Lavender fields to explain the differences between varieties of Lavender and how they are grown.

You will then take a stroll over to the distillery where you can see how the essential oil is extracted from the plants, and learn about the harvesting process. While enjoying a light refreshment (Lavender Shortbread and apple juice), you will learn all about how Lavender can be used at home.

The Guided Tours last for approx. 1hr 15mins and involve some walking between fields. Covered seating is available in each field. Sorry, no dogs on this event.

Please note: If you wish to just take photographs in the Lavender Fields, then we recommend booking the Lavender Field Walk or Lavender Picnics – both of which offer extended unguided time to wander the rows and take photographs. You can book these events separately to the Guided Lavender Tour – but choose a time slot either side of your Tour booking to ensure you give yourself enough time to attend each event.
