Spacious setting of well maintained lawns and paths lead visitors through plantsman’s collection of trees, shrubs, heathers and herbaceous plants. Good Spring colour. Early C17 house (not open). Magnolias, hellebores and snowflakes (leucojum), hamamellis and winter flowering heathers are a great feature in the spring. A great variety of perennials in summer incl salvias, dahlias and crocosmias.
Tearoom open for morning coffee, home-made lunches and afternoon teas.
