Come dressed in your scariest costume this Halloween half term.
Meet the resident goblin in his shack telling Tudor Tales and Medieval Myths, suitable for families with children of all ages. Prizes are also on offer for the best Halloween costume in each session. Enter the Castle to take the Medieval Mysteries quiz and learn about some of the mystifying myths around Halloween. Discover how this scary day has evolved over the past 800 year since Hever Castle was built. Kids can make a Halloween puppet in creepy craft workshops daily and enjoy following the Halloween trail through the gardens looking for hidden clues to earn a terrible treat! They can even decorate a devilishly delicious Halloween cupcake.

Halloween Trail (FREE) 10:30 – 17:30 – collect a leaflet on entry then complete it as you follow the trail around the gardens. Return the finished trail to the Information Centre to collect your treat!
Halloween Craft (FREE) 11:00 – 17:00 – kids can make a Halloween puppet to take home; supervised drop in sessions.
Halloween Cupcake Decorating (£1.50) 11:00 – 16:30 – kids ice and decorate a spooky cupcake; supervised drop in sessions.
Ghastly Goblin Shack (FREE) 11:30, 12:30, 14:30, 15:30 and 16:30 (20 minute sessions) – meet our resident Goblin and listen to folktales of goblins, trolls, witches and ghouls – suitable for families with children of all ages. There will be a prize for the best Halloween outfit in each session.
Medieval Mysteries Quiz (Castle ticket required) 12:00 – 17:00 – learn about some of the mystifying myths around Halloween.
