Take a walk through history and experience a traditional Georgian Christmas on a weekend visit to Quebec House this festive season.
Have a go at our Georgian Christmas game, warm your frosty fingers on the roaring open fire in the drawing room and admire the winding garlands around the bannisters.
In true Georgian style we have bought the outside inside and decorated our fireplaces with festive holly and ivy.
Don’t forget to write a special Christmas message using our traditional ink and quill set in the drawing room.
It was a Georgian tradition to write good wishes and hang them on a tree.
Scrumptious treats
Finally what would Christmas be without a festive feast?
Step in to the Bicentennary room and discover replicas of the delicacies that Georgian society would have enjoyed at Christmas time.
To delight your taste buds, have a sample of our Georgian style mince pies and hot chocolate.
Made to traditional Georgian recipes, we’ll be brewing both spiced hot chocolate and boozy hot chocolate.
