It is expected that by the end of the session you will understand:

  • The different sorts of foods that insects, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals eat
  • How to provide a diverse food supply in your garden
  • How different styles and sizes of gardens can support wildlife
  • The ways in which garden chemicals can affect wildlife
  • Alternatives to chemicals in the garden
  • Ways to avoid harming wildlife in your garden; lawns, pond and flower beds

LOCATION: Tyland Barn, Sandling, Maidstone, Kent, ME14 3BD

COST: Standard fee: £17.50 per person per day.  Concessionary fee: Kent Wildlife Trust volunteers, senior citizens, unemployed and students £2.50 off.
