Flying the Nest

An interactive show introducing young explorers to the fun world of birding!

Flying The Nest is a show inspired by British Birds.   In true Handmade Theatre style this piece is an interactive theatrical experience designed with and for children and families.

The audience are invited to sit in their very own bird nests and enrol in hatchling college and learn all about native birds and how to be a good birder.

Filled with a fantastic mix of music, drama, facts and fun, this humorous show brings to life native bird characters in a new and engaging way.

Very limited spaces so please book early £3 per child and £4 per adult.

Choose your time slot 11am—12pm or 1pm—2pm.

Meet on Bingley Island Local Nature Reserve which will be signed from Toddler’s Cove Car Park.

Each child will be given a Bingley Island ‘Bird Bingo’ spotter sheet so they can explore after the performance!
