Exploratory Walk and Mausoleum visit

West Kent Downs Countryside Trust invites you to a walk through a beautiful woodland, plus a bonus visit to Cobham Mausoleum.

West Kent Downs Countryside Trust invites you on a walk through a beautiful woodland which we have been maintaining for the past 25 years.

There may be bluebells, primroses, hellebores, orchids, buzzards, and dragonflies, and there will certainly be veteran trees and chalk grassland plants, plus the chance to do some practical maintenance work, if you wish.

This walkaround will explain why we exist, how we put our 20-year management plan into action, and why we need to convert the whole area into one managed nature reserve within the NNR. Our neighbouring NNR partner, the National Trust, has agreed that our visitors can also visit the Mausoleum after our walk. Therefore, booking the walk is essential for this extra treat.
