Join us for an evening of mindful stargazing, where you’ll connect with the night sky, explore your place in the cosmos, and experience the wonder of the universe like never before.

When was the last time you looked up at the night sky with wide-eyed curiosity, appreciating the magic and awe of the stars? The practice of mindful stargazing is about immersing yourself in the experience of the night time and developing a first-hand, experiential knowledge of what it is not to look out at the Universe, but to feel part of it and live within it.

Led by Mark Westmoquette, ex-professional astronomer turned yoga and mindfulness teacher, this evening will explore our place in the cosmos – scientifically, energetically, and spiritually. We’ll begin indoors with a cosmic body scan, sensing different parts of our body and reflecting on how our bodies are made from stardust billions of years old, before marvelling at images of star birth and death. Then we’ll head outdoors to get settled with a view of the sky and, opening our senses, we’ll spend time experiencing the night sky as it is – whether clear or cloudy – and, if conditions allow, finish with a guided tour of the stars and constellation myths.

☕ Hot drinks included.

Please note

  • This event will go ahead whatever the weather.
