Evening Bat Walk

Join local bat specialist Shirley Thompson and Mel Wrigley from the White Cliffs Countryside Partnership for a short walk around Kearsney Abbey lake and grounds.

We’ll be searching for bats which should start flying at around 9.30pm.

There will be some bat detectors to borrow but if you have your own please bring them along.  There’ll also be a moth light trap near the café.

MEET: Outside Kearsney Abbey Café.

Please wear sensible footwear and bring a torch.  We will be walking by unfenced open water, the lake and water gullies in the dark so children MUST be closely supervised at all times.

The walk is free but places need to be booked.  To reserve your place, please email kearsney.parks@dover.gov.uk

There is a suggested donation of £2 per person.  Dogs are not allowed.
