Drawing in the Footsteps of Samuel Palmer

Accompanied by artist Victoria Threlfall, deviser of the Samuel Palmer Audio Trail, we will follow in the footsteps of Samuel Palmer around Shoreham, stopping to make drawings in our sketchbooks.

We will be looking at images from Palmer’s own sketchbook and his mark-making techniques for inspiration. It’s all about looking, and enjoying the process! Open to everybody (adults), no prior drawing experience necessary.

Please bring with you any sketching materials you like! However, we will provide clipboards and quality cartridge paper, basic drawing materials – pens, pencils etc.
