We are pleased to announce the North Downs Way 40th anniversary walks programme, delivered in collaboration with a number of partner organisations.
The walks listed cover the length of the trail so there’s something for everyone whether you want to walk in Surrey, Kent or Medway.
Our walk partners come from a very diverse background and will approach the walks very differently.
The Devil’s Kneading Trough to Folkestone Downs
Join this walk along one of the most stunning sections of this iconic trail.
Departing Wye we will climb up on to the downs, taking in the Wye Crown and Devil’s Kneading Trough before heading on to the Folkestone Downs, with its rare chalk grassland and recently restored Bronze Age round barrow.
Taking in the breath taking views of the Channel and Romney Marsh, you will hear about the landscape, history and wildlife of the area.

DISTANCE: 16 Miles – Hard – a long walk with plenty of climbs, including some steep ones.
Bring plenty of water and food. Dogs under control welcome.
