BATS AT THE PINES CALYX

Shirley Thompson is an engaging bat specialist.  She will give an illustrated talk about bat biology and behavior as well as some of the latest research findings.

At around 9pm join Shirley for a short walk into the Pines Garden in search of bats.  The bats should will start flying at around 9.30pm.

MEET: The Pines Calyx, The Pines Gardens, Beach Road, St. Margaret’s Bay, Dover, CT15 6DZ.

DISTANCE: 0.5 mile (2.5 hours).

GRADE: 5 (night).

There will be bat detectors to borrow. If you have your own do bring it along.

Please wear sensible footwear and bring a torch.  Torches will need to be turned off when we are looking for bats.

Donations appreciated.  No dogs please.
