Join us on a guided archaeology and history walk through Shorne Woods, led by Community Archaeologist Andrew Mayfield. Discover and learn more about a lost medieval manor, prehistoric flint scatters and even the remains of Second World War camps.

This event is being run as part of a series of events to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Kent Downs AONB and the 40th Anniversary of the North Downs Way, supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund. For more information visit The Kent Downs Website

2 hour walk across a varied terrain.

Meet: Shorne Woods Country Park Visitor Centre, DA12 3HX (please note there is a pay and display car park, £2 per day Mon-Fri and £3 per day at weekends and bank holidays)
