Two-day walk on the section of the North Downs Way from Dover to Canterbury. An opportunity to experience an historic journey along an ancient trackway used by merchants and pilgrims. For centuries, Dover has received travellers arriving from the continent. Many made their way along the North Downs to Canterbury and the pilgrimage site of St. Thomas à Becket’s tomb in the Cathedral. Retrace the physical steps of these pilgrims, travelling in a group as they would have done, sharing in a communal meal and sleeping under the shelter of a church roof. Step back in time and revive mind and body on this unique walk along the North Downs Way.
