This summer we have teamed up with Kent Sport to get you #EverydayActive on a bike!

From the great range of cycling trails at Bedgebury to the beautiful riverside ride along the Medway Towpath, Kent is jammed packed full of beautiful routes for all abilities.

Whether you are a newbie, you need a boost to your confidence or you’re a bit of a pro, you will soon discover how you can make the most of Kent on two wheels. Let’s get started!

Cycling for Newbies

Getting back in the saddle can be a daunting prospect, but it’s so much fun once you’ve got the hang of it! We’ve got lots of useful information on where you can go to make that first step; from HSBC Ride Social which are guided bike rides for different abilities, to information on confidence building sessions and lessons – no matter your age or ability.

If you are new to cycling, you’ll be able to find a learn to ride course run by friendly cycling instructors from Kent County Council. Don’t worry if you haven’t got a bike, as you’ll be able to borrow one. There are also courses to improve your cycling confidence too.

With so many cars on the road, take the stress out of travelling and check out Kent Connected to see whether cycling to work, walking into town or taking the bus could save you lots of time and energy as well as burning a few calories. Bonus!

From children, families,  solo riders and everyone in between we’re here to get you started. Whether you need a hand to get #EverydayActive or you’re here to find out more about Breeze rides for women or a straight forward way to hire a bike, you’ll find everything you need on this page to enjoy a great summer of cycling!

And if all that’s not enough check out our events page and discover some great cycling events across Kent.
