Enjoying Autumn Colours in Kent

Autumn is here but it doesn’t mean that the fun times and adventures you had during the summer have to end!  This new season brings a fantastic opportunity to get outdoors and have some fun, albeit with a few extra layers on!

There are spooky goings on all over Kent in October and during Halloween with plenty of family-friendly activities and events to keep your little ghouls busy.  Look for Petrifying Pumpkins in the gardens at Chartwell or why not Go Batty searching for bats at Ightham Mote; challenge yourself on the Halloween Monster Quest at Leeds Castle or have fun exploring the Enchanted Garden at The Historic Dockyard.

As the leaves start to curl and fall, there’s loads of fun to be had crunching through the leaves on wonderful woodland walks, so get those wellies on and head out to explore our Kent Country Parks.  Be afraid of the Halloween Magic at Lullingstone Castle or get frightened by the Halloween Spooktacular at Kent Life.

Autumn is the perfect time of year to visit an orchard and pick fruits right off of the trees.  So head out to Brogdale and enjoy a guided walk or tractor tour of the National Fruit Collection with their expert and knowledgeable guides?

Don’t forget to check out our Events Page for more activities taking place at Autumn …
