8 Shorter Walks from Dungeness to Ramsgate.
From the sand dunes of Camber to the White Cliffs of Dover, the England Coast Path is a delight to walk, whether it’s the full length or a smaller section of it.
Tackling the whole 66 miles of coast path can seem a bit daunting if you aren’t a seasoned walker so Explore Kent has compiled an exciting collection of 8 smaller sections of the coast path, giving you the best opportunities to explore the stunning areas which you will walk through on your coast path adventure!
The 8 routes are short linear walks and are well connected by public transport with the opportunity to continue your walk with most finish points connecting with the start point of the next walk. Experience fine views from the white cliffs, the freshest seafood on the seafronts, and visit the Kentish castles. There is something for everyone on Kent’s coastline and is a perfect way to spend time getting active outdoors with the whole family.
Admire the many points of interest which you can find on each walk such as the Martello towers, South Foreland Lighthouse and the Battle of Britain Memorial to name a few! With so much heritage and history to learn about, exploring Kent’s Coast has never been so much fun!
