Hawkenbury Recreation Grounds is on the edge of town and has some great views into the countryside and across the town. The children’s play area is popular with local families and the all weather sports areas, cricket pitches and tennis courts are well used by local community groups and schools. With free parking, mature trees, some open spaces, and direct access to woodland walks the park is a great place to have a picnic and enjoy the fresh air and views. The High Weald Country Trail and Tunbridge Wells Circular Walk pass along the southern edge of the recreation grounds

Easy access information

This park and open space has well surfaced routes suitable for visitors with pushchairs and/or wheelchairs, and has no width restricting features, such as stiles or non RADAR kissing gates.
