Get ready for pumpkin picking season, autumn is finally here! We love embracing the colder weather and what better way to do so than going out with loved ones and hunting for the perfect pumpkins? It’s the perfect activity to get everyone in the autumnal spirit! Check out the details below for the best places to go pumpkin picking and when they’ll be happening:

It’s always a good idea to check the weather forecast, don’t forget to dress accordingly, put on your wellies and waterproofs if rain is expected. Gloves are a must to keep those hands clean and warm!

North Kent

Pumpkin Moon:

A pumpkin wonderland! Choose from over 100 varieties of pumpkins, squashes and gourds. Booking is essential and is available to purchase on their website.

Stanhill Farm:

Stanhill Farms’ 150 acres are managed by brothers Toby and Max Williams. The Farm harvests wheat and a number of different fruit and vegetables; around 20-30 varieties each year.

When: 5th, 6th, 12th, 13th, 16th, 29th October. Monday to Saturday: 9:30am – 3:30pm, Sunday: 10:30am – 2:30pm.

Price: £5.00 per ticket (One vehicle of up to seven people / One walk in group of up to seven people)

Saffery Farm:

A small but yet perfectly formed pumpkin patch on a farm which can be found down a tiny track in Selling near Faversham.

East Kent

PYO Pumpkin Canterbury:

Back and better than ever! No booking necessary, perfect for a last minute plan with the family. Admission and parking is free, card and cash accepted and dogs on leads are welcome.

Where: Hoath Fruit Farm, Bekesbourne Lane, Canterbury, CT3 4AB

Delf Farm Shop:

A family run farm shop which is based in Sandwich, known for their fruit and vegetable market and pick your own pumpkins. They also have a dinky donuts stall to enjoy whilst you go! Booking is not necessary.

Felderland Farm:

Felderland Farm is one of the largest Pick Your Own or PYO farms in Kent. They grow a wide range of fresh seasonal produce.

Where: 20 Deal Rd, Sandwich, Deal CT14 0BJ

When: 19th – 31st October. 10am-3pm.

Price: £3 for an adult. £1.50 for 3-12 years old, under 3’s go free.

South Kent

PYO Pumpkin Ashford:

Become a ‘Pumpkin Picker’ & choose your own pumpkin for Halloween. Hunt for the golden pumpkin hidden in the field. If you find the gold pumpkin you could win a wheelbarrow of pumpkins for free! If you find a silver pumpkin you can get your largest pumpkin for free. No dogs allowed except assistance dogs.

Price: Pumpkins are priced on size from £1-£10 per pumpkin. £6.66 per car.

Pumpkin Patch Romney Marsh:

Lime Tree Farm is a popular destination for pumpkin picking and Halloween festivities. The farm features a variety of pumpkins and gourds, perfect for picking and decorating with a Halloween display that supports the Pilgrims Hospice.

Where: Lime Tree farm, Straight Ln, Brookland, Romney Marsh TN29 9QS.

When: Every day throughout October 9am – 5pm.

Price: No entry fee, they collect donations for Pilgrims hospice.

Marsh Maze Pumpkin Farmyard Romney Marsh:

The Pumpkin Funyard features thousands of pumpkins to choose from, along with other Funyard activities like go-karts, a bouncy castle, and more.

Little Fant Farm:

The Little Fant Farm is a 20 acre small family farm, with a Tea Barn, animals and Orchards to admire. Perfect for those looking for a family day out. The pumpkin picking is free to enter and does not require booking in advance. Dogs are allowed on leads. Parking on site.
