An Elizabethan Christmas at Sissinghurst Castle Garden

Elizabethan-inspired displays, decorations and Christmas trees create a festive atmosphere at the world-renowned garden created by Vita Sackville-West and Harold Nicolson.

The centrepiece is a stunning floral installation around the archway leading into the gardens and at the base of the Elizabethan tower, created by Aesme Studio. The carefully crafted arrangement, including seasonal hellebores and clematis, will transform the winter landscape.

Explore festively decorated areas across the site, on the family Yuletide Trail. Dress up as Lords and Ladies of the Manor, practice your royal greetings in the Tower, decorate a yule log, compete to be the ‘Queen of the Bean’, and put your children in charge for the day at our Childermas station.
