Curtain Up Christmas at Scotney Castle

It’s festive show time in the mansion at Scotney Castle with decadently decorated rooms inspired by the Hussey family’s love of the performing arts. Spot your favourite stories from theatre, ballet and film throughout the house, brought to life with beautiful items from Scotney’s vast collection including theatrical costumes.

Wrap up warm and see the mansion house exterior beautifully illuminated at twilight openings (14 & 15 December, 18 to 22 December). The shop and tea-room will be open for gifts, treats and a hot drink. Book via the website to avoid disappointment.

Those on the ‘good’ list can pen their Christmas wish-list to Santa at the North Pole letter-writing station. Families will be enchanted by the trail in the garden.
