Meadow Walk at Plaxtol
Fidelity Weston from Romshed Farm will be joined by ecologist, Francis Agate, and local landowner, Duncan Simpson, to show how cattle have been used to graze the riverside meadows to increase biodiversity in this special part of the valley outside Plaxtol. This is a free event but please book.

With expert guidance from Fidelity, Frances and Duncan, discover the plants, insects and other wildlife that have been encouraged as a result of the grazing management regime. This event is a must for anyone interested in regenerative farming and the regeneration of lost wildflower rich meadows.
Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
Where to meet:
The Barn at Roughway Lane, Dunks Green, Plaxtol, TN11 9SH. Turn into Roughway Barn and parking is around the barn and in the field.
What to wear:
Sensible shoes or boots, especially if it has been wet. There will be long grass so please wear trousers to avoid itchy legs!

The meadows are within 5 minutes walking distance from the Kentish Rifleman, a popular pub serving home made, locally sourced food.
