If you’re looking for a peaceful place to relax and take in the views, Reculver Beach couldn’t be better placed. Sat in the shadow of the striking Reculver Towers, this peaceful shingle beach is a great spot for a picnic or soaking up some history.

You’ll find plenty of information about the 12^th century towers and the Roman fort they stand among at the visitor centre. After an afternoon of picnicking you may want to stretch your legs, and the 3.5 mile Reculver walk along the famous Saxon Shore Way might be just the thing to round off the day.
