Woods Meadow provides a quiet and pleasant walk for the public and a small area of refuge for a variety of wildlife, both plant and animal. A six-acre public space, Woods Meadow is owned and managed by Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council.
As you come into the site, a small open area of grassland greets you, which leads over a tiny footbridge crossing the stream to the wooded banks on the other side, which are criss-crossed with unsurfaced paths.
Although only a small site, Woods Meadow is a made a pleasant place to explore by the stream which runs through its woodlands and the fact that it is relatively rare to meet other walkers.
Situated just to the north of the A20 in Leybourne, there is no dedicated car park at Woods Meadow, but parking can usually be found nearby along the A20.
Easy access information
This park and open space contains uneven trails, un-surfaced or narrow pathways. Also, there are width restricting features, such as stiles and narrow gaps making it difficult for visitors with pushchairs and/or wheelchairs to access some parts of the site.
