The Biddenden Millennium Field is a nature and conservation area of 20.5 acres. Created in 1999 as part of the Millennium celebrations it has lots to offer visitors. There is a wooded area (the Rookery) with a stream and foot bridges, ponds with dipping platforms, and three statues carved from old trees. At the top of the field is a Sun clock, just stand on the right month and your shadow will tell you the time! Another interesting feature is the Direction Finder that indicates distances to various places, such as London, Paris and Rye. There is parking next to the recreation grounds and an information panel highlighting the nature trail and pathways around the site.
