The Vines Cherry Picnic returns to Rochester on Saturday 11 July 2026, offering a free, family-friendly day out in the beautiful surroundings of The Vines on Crow Lane (ME1 1RF).
Running from 11:30am to 3:00pm, this much-loved annual event invites visitors to bring along a picnic, relax in the park, and enjoy a lively programme of entertainment.
Highlights include delicious locally grown Kentish cherries, live music, stalls, children’s activities and face painting, creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere for all ages.
Organised by the Friends of The Vines and supported by Medway Council, the event also raises funds for Macmillan Cancer Support, making it a great opportunity to enjoy summer in the community while supporting a meaningful cause.
