Medway Mile

The Medway Mile is the largest mass participation sports event staged in Medway.  Established in 2007 to mark the countdown to the opening ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics, the Mile has become hugely successful and a landmark event on Medway’s calendar.

The 10th Anniversary Event

The 10th anniversary Medway Mile 2017 event will take place on Friday, 21 July 2017 and celebrate all the best moments of the last 10 years of this popular community event.  The one-mile route allows people walk, jog and run around historic Rochester weaving through the picturesque town and High Street before ending within the grounds of Rochester Castle.
