Ash Tree ID Course: Brockhill Country Park

Have you ever wanted to know your ash from your walnut or your beech from your hornbeam?  Come and learn what makes ash so distinctive in the landscapes of Kent. This tree ID course will offer a practical guide to being able to identify all of the native trees in the woodlands of Kent, with a special focus on ash trees.

LOCATION: Brockhill Country Park, Sandling Rd, Saltwood CT21 4HL

LEADER: Mike Phillips

This course will cover the foundations of tree identification, including tree reproduction, structure and growth, how to identify trees throughout the seasons and a walk among the ash trees to practice your skills. Mike Phillips has been working with and around trees in Kent for many years and is one of the lovely and experienced ranger team from Brockhill Country Parks.

There will be plenty of time to ask questions, drink tea and spend time with the ash trees at Brockhill Country Park.

It is a FREE, public event suitable for all ages.

It is part of the series of Ash Workshops.
